Approach

My approach to starting a new piece of work is to meet face to face (whenever possible) at your place of business to discuss your work requirements. After this initial consultation I will typically provide a daily rate or fixed price quote and details of referees that you can contact.  Once the work has been confirmed and a contract signed I will then work with you to agree on a planned approach to move forward with the piece of work.

Experience

I have over 9 years experience working as a business analyst and designer in a variety of top-tier organisations predominantly within the Financial Services and online classifieds sector. Previous clients include AXA Australia, Aviva, IOOF, Wotif.com, SEEK Limited and Sensis.

Cost Effective

Put simply, working with me is a cost-effective solution. The professional relationship with my clients is built directly with me and not via a third party such as a recruitment / consulting company. Doing so avoids the typical 15-20% that a third party would charge on top of my fee, allowing me to price my daily rate at typically $200-$300 less than similar services provisioned by a third party.

Flexible

Working as an independent contractor allows me to be flexible with the approach and working relationship, to fit the way you do business. Need a Business Analyst for 1 day? Working offsite only? These scenarios I am familiar with and are typically no problem to arrange. I am also available over the weekends and there is no minimum amount of contract.
